Flexion, headquartered in Zurich and founded by former Nvidia researchers, is building a next-generation autonomy platform for humanoid and human-capable robots. The startup has raised $50 million in a Series A, led by DST Global Partners and joined by NVentures, Redalpine, Prosus Ventures, and Moonfire Ventures. With total funding now around $57.35 million, the company plans to establish a U.S. presence and accelerate compute, robot-fleet, and R&D efforts. Its mission: shift robotics from scripted behaviour to general-purpose adaptability via language-based reasoning, vision–language–action models, and transformer-based whole-body control.
